Colt Vista: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure lock nut is positioned 3.07" (78.0 mm) from strut bar end. Install strut bar onto control arm, with protrusion on end of strut bar facing up.
  2. Tighten strut bar nuts and bolts to specification with vehicle on ground and suspension unloaded. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. Check front end alignment.
NOTE: Replace self-locking nuts. Tighten strut bar bolts to specification with vehicle at normal operating height.
