Colt Vista: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten hanger installation nuts until distance from end of bolt to nut is .31-.40" (7.9-10.2 mm). On 2WD models, lock stabilizer bar ends on strut bars so that space between stabilizer bar hanger bracket and crossmember is .40-.55" (10.2-14.0 mm).
  2. On 4WD models, tighten stabilizer bar-to-lower arm nuts until distance from end of bolt to nut is .31-.40" (7.9-10.2 mm). Tighten remaining stabilizer bar fasteners to specification with vehicle on ground and suspension unloaded. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. Check front end alignment.
