Removal & Installation (Colt Vista)
- Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove dust shield bolts. Remove coupling bolt from pinion shaft joint. Disconnect hydraulic lines from steering gear. Drain fluid.
- Remove tie rod end cotter pins and castle nuts. Using Puller (MB-991113), disconnect tie rod ends from steering knuckles.
- On 2WD models, remove crossmember support bracket, located on right end of crossmember. On 2WD models equipped with manual transmission, remove rear roll stopper stay. See Fig 1
. On all models, remove steering gear toward right side of vehicle.

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Fill and bleed system. Check wheel play and alignment.
