Removal (Colt, Colt Vista, Colt 200 & Summit)

  1. Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove front wheel(s). Remove caliper. Remove cotter pin, wheel bearing nut and washer.
  2. Separate lower ball joint and tie rod end from steering knuckle. Using Puller (MB990241-01), push drive shaft through hub. Remove steering knuckle-to-strut housing bolts.
  3. Remove knuckle from strut assembly. Remove hub and knuckle assembly. Using Bracket (MB991056) and Bolt (MB990998), separate hub from steering knuckle. See Fig 1. Remove rotor from hub.
