Ignition Switch In RUN Position
- Disconnect oil pressure sender connector. If needle moves to zero pressure mark, go to step 2). If needle does not move to zero mark, check circuit between instrument cluster and oil sender for an open circuit. If circuit is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
- Momentarily touch terminal "S" of oil pressure sender connector to ground. If needle moves to the maximum pressure mark, replace oil pressure sender. If needle does not move to the maximum pressure mark, check circuit between oil pressure sender and instrument cluster for an open circuit. If circuit is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
