Ignition Switch In RUN Position
- Jump either high temperature, coolant level or oil level switch connector to ground. If indicator light comes on, replace the defective switch. (Before replacing coolant level switch, check continuity between terminal "B" and ground. If continuity is present, replace coolant level switch. If no continuity is present, repair ground wire.) If indicator light stays off, go to step 2).
- Check indicator bulbs. If continuity is present, bulb is okay. Go to step 3). If bulb has no continuity, replace defective bulb.
- Check continuity between instrument cluster and suspected switch. If continuity is present, replace instrument cluster printed circuit. If no continuity is present, repair open circuit between instrument cluster and switch.
