Ignition Switch In RUN Position

  1. Jump park brake switch connector to ground. If indicator light comes on, replace park brake switch. If indicator light stays off, repair open circuit between park brake switch connector and instrument cluster.
  2. Jump brake warning switch terminal "B" to ground. If indicator light comes on, go to step 3). If indicator light stays off, repair open circuit between brake warning switch connector and instrument cluster.
  3. Jump brake warning switch terminal "A" to terminal "B". If indicator light comes on, replace brake warning switch. If indicator light stays off, repair open circuit between terminal "A" and ground.
