Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
2. Using a 7/8 inch crowfoot or equivalent, remove sensor from exhaust manifold.
3. Clean exhaust manifold threads.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque sensor to 22 ft. lbs. If original sensor is to be reinstalled, coat threads with a suitable anti-seize compound.
