System Diagnosis & Testing

1. Remove wiper arms and disconnect electrical connector to motor.
2. Connect negative lead of volt/amp tester to positive battery post.
3. Ensure motor is grounded, and alternately connect positive lead of tester to white (low speed) and blue (high speed) wire terminals on motor.
4. Tester should indicate approximately 1 amp current draw at both high and low speeds.
5. If current draw exceeds 3 amps, repair or replace motor.
