Cruise Command Does Not Engage In ``ON'' Position

1. Restricted or leaking vacuum hose. Locate restriction or leak and repair.
2. Control switch damaged. Replace switch.
3. Regulator inoperative. Replace regulator.
4. Speed sensor inoperative. Replace speed sensor.
5. Brake lamps defective or brake light switch inoperative. Replace bulbs or switch.
6. Open between brake light switch and brake lamps or brake light switch wire disconnected. Repair open circuit or connect wire to switch.
7. Mechanical vent valve needs adjusting. Refer to "Vacuum Dump Valve" adjustment in individual car chapters.
