Theory Of Operation

The Radiator Cooling Fan is supplied with a fused 12 volt B+ circuit and a ground circuit. The Electric Vehicle Control Unit (EVCU) controls the radiator Cooling Fan speed with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) command via a Control Circuit. The EVCU monitors the PWM Control circuit and will set a DTC indicating the nature of the fault.
