If a new Brake System Control Module (BSCM) has been installed, other BSCM Electric Park Brake (EPB) related DTCs are present or the EPB portion of the BSCM has had maintenance performed this fault will be set. If any of these conditions were present or have been repaired, the Assembly Check routine must be performed to clear this DTC.
