Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 
    1. With the scan tool, read Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
    2. Record the Environmental Data.
    3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
    4. Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
    5. With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.

      Did the DTC return?

      Yes 

      • Go To Next Step

      No 

  2. CHECK FOR OTHER DTCS 
    1. Refer to the recorded DTCs.

      Are there any BCM LIN Bus DTCs present?

      Yes 

      • Perform the applicable diagnostic procedure(s).

      No 

      • Go To Next Step.
  3. CHECK THE WIRELESS CHARGE PAD MODULE (WCPM) CONNECTOR AND TERMINALS 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Check the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector for proper connection at the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM).
    3. Verify that the connector is completely plugged in and properly locked prior to disconnecting.
    4. Disconnect the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector and check for any pushed out, damaged or spread terminals.

      Were any issues found with the connector or terminals?

      Yes 

      • Repair the damaged terminal or properly connect and lock the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector and retest for DTCs.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
