Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- With the scan tool, read Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
- Record the Environmental Data.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Go To Next Step
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITIONS procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK FOR OTHER DTCS
- Refer to the recorded DTCs.
Are there any BCM LIN Bus DTCs present?
Yes
- Perform the applicable diagnostic procedure(s).
No
- Go To Next Step.
- Refer to the recorded DTCs.
- CHECK THE WIRELESS CHARGE PAD MODULE (WCPM) CONNECTOR AND TERMINALS
- Turn the ignition off.
- Check the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector for proper connection at the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM).
- Verify that the connector is completely plugged in and properly locked prior to disconnecting.
- Disconnect the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector and check for any pushed out, damaged or spread terminals.
Were any issues found with the connector or terminals?
Yes
- Repair the damaged terminal or properly connect and lock the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) harness connector and retest for DTCs.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Wireless Charge Pad Module (WCPM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, WIRELESS CHARGING PAD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
