BTSI Override

NOTE:

If a malfunction occurs and the shift lever cannot be moved out of the PARK position, you can use the following procedure to temporarily move the shift lever.

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Using a trim stick (2) or similar tool, carefully separate the shifter bezel and boot assembly (1) from the Instrument panel.
  3. Press and maintain firm pressure on the brake pedal.
  4. Press the red override release lever down and operate the shifter.
  5. Reinstall the shift lever boot.
