Reaction Shaft Removal
- Remove the transmission from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Drain the fluid from the transmission.
- Remove the bellhousing from the transmission. Refer to BELLHOUSING, REMOVAL .
1 - Reaction Shaft 2 - Reaction Shaft Bolts 3 - Intermediate Support Plate Bolts 4 - Intermediate Support Plate - Remove the bolts holding the reaction shaft to the intermediate support plate.
1 - Intermediate Support Plate 2 - Reaction Shaft 3 - Oil Pump - Separate the reaction shaft from the intermediate support plate.
1 - Seal Rings 2 - Inner Reaction Shaft Hub - Remove the seal rings from the ring lands in the inner reaction shaft hub.
1 - Seal Rings 2 - Outer Reaction Shaft Hub - Remove the seal ring from the ring land in the outer reaction shaft hub.
