Input Shaft Seal Removal

Remove the transmission from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .
Remove the torque converter from the transmission.

1 - Input Shaft Seal

2 - Slide Hammer
Using a punch tool and hammer, punch a hole in the center of the metal armature of the seal.
Using a slide hammer with a screw adapter threaded into the hole in the seal, remove the seal from the bore in the center of the bellhousing.
