1 - Shift Cable Grommet

Install the shift cable and grommet assembly through the bulkhead from the passenger compartment.
Seat the shift cable grommet to the bulkhead and tighten the grommet nuts.

1 - Shift Cable End

2 - Shift Cable Lock Collar
Pull the shift cable lock collar down and engage the cable to the shifter.

Install the shift cable end to the shifter.

3 - Shift Cable End

Pull the shift cable lock collar and connect the shift cable to the bracket at the transmission.
NOTE:
The manual lever is in the PARK position when it is rotated fully clockwise when viewed from the front of the vehicle.
Make sure the shift lever and the manual lever is in the PARK position.
Pull the shift cable adjuster lock up and attach the shift cable end to the manual lever.
Push the shift cable adjuster lock down to lock the cable adjustment.
Install the cupholder support bracket.
Install the center instrument panel cupholder assembly. Refer to CUPHOLDER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
