Differential Bearing Race Removal

Remove the transmission from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .
Position the transmission on a suitable, clean work surface.

Remove the bellhousing. Refer to BELLHOUSING, REMOVAL .

3 - Vice Grip Pliers

4 - Bearing Race

Using the tools mentioned below, and suitable vise-grip pliers to hold the expansion screw in position, remove the bearing race from the bellhousing.

Remove the differential unit from the transmission.

Using the tools mentioned below and suitable vise-grip pliers to hold the expansion screw in position, remove the bearing race from the transmission housing.
