3.6L - With A/C
CAUTION:
Do not let the tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.
- If equipped, remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL .
- Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the right lower splash shield.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING
.
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose (2).
- Disconnect the bypass hose (1) from the water pump.
- Rotate the belt tensioner until it contacts its stop and remove the serpentine belt. Slowly rotate the tensioner into the free position.
