Stabilizer Bar, Rear Suspension: Removal
NOTE:
Before proceeding. Refer to WARNING .
NOTE:
The stabilizer bushings are not serviced separately. If they require replacement, the entire stabilizer bar must be replaced.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the left rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL
.
- Remove and DISCARD
the stabilizer link nuts at the stabilizer bar (1).
- Remove the four retaining bolts (5) attaching the stabilizer bar to the chassis.
- Remove the stabilizer bar from the left side of the vehicle, carefully guiding it over the exhaust.
