Deploy Brackets

WITHOUT SLIDING SIDE DOOR

1. Remove the side curtain airbag (also known as Side AirBag Inflatable Curtain/SABIC) from the vehicle. Refer to AIR BAG, SIDE CURTAIN, REMOVAL .
2. Using a drill motor and an appropriate bit, carefully drill out the three (without sliding side door) blind rivets (2) that secure the deploy bracket (1) to the inside of the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar.
3. Remove the deploy bracket from the vehicle.

WITH SLIDING SIDE DOOR 

1. Remove the side curtain airbag (also known as Side AirBag Inflatable Curtain/SABIC) from the vehicle. Refer to AIR BAG, SIDE CURTAIN, REMOVAL .
2. Using a drill motor and an appropriate bit, carefully drill out the two (with sliding side door) blind rivets (2) that secure the deploy bracket (1) to the inside of the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar.
3. Remove the deploy bracket from the vehicle.
