Deploy Brackets

WITHOUT SLIDING SIDE DOOR

1. Position the deploy bracket (1) near the top of the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar.
2. Secure the deploy bracket to the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar using a blind rivet installation tool and three (without sliding side door) new blind rivets (2).
3. Install the side curtain airbag (also known as Side AirBag Inflatable Curtain/SABIC) into the vehicle. Refer to AIR BAG, SIDE CURTAIN, INSTALLATION .

WITH SLIDING SIDE DOOR 

1. Position the deploy bracket (1) near the top of the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar.
2. Secure the deploy bracket to the inner roof side rail and the B-pillar using a blind rivet installation tool and two (with sliding side door) new blind rivets (2).
3. Install the side curtain airbag (also known as Side AirBag Inflatable Curtain/SABIC) into the vehicle. Refer to AIR BAG, SIDE CURTAIN, INSTALLATION .
