Outlet, Air: Installation: Outboard

  1. Position the instrument panel air outlet (2) to the instrument panel and engage the retaining clips (1) to the instrument panel. Make sure the retainers are fully engaged.

  2. Install the screw (2) that secures the bottom of the air outlet (1) to the instrument panel and securely tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Depending on the air outlet being serviced, install the steering column opening cover or the glove box. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION or GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
