Housing - Air Inlet

  1. If the foam seal on the top of the inlet housing is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.
  2. Position the air inlet housing (3) onto the top of the HVAC housing.
  3. Install the two screws (2) that secure the air inlet housing to the HVAC housing and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the two screws (1) within the air inlet housing opening to the HVAC housing and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Connect the HVAC wire harness to the recirculation door actuator.
  6. Install the HVAC housing. Refer to HOUSING, HVAC, INSTALLATION .
