Module, Power, Blower Motor: Description
The Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system uses a blower motor power module to control the blower motor speed.
The blower motor power module is mounted to the HVAC housing, on the passenger side of the vehicle. The blower motor power module consists of a molded plastic mounting plate (1) with integral wire harness connector receptacles (2). Concealed behind the mounting plate is the blower motor power module electronic circuitry (3) and a large finned heat sink (4).
The blower motor power module is accessed for service from underneath the instrument panel.
