Valve, Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV): Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the coolant tubes nuts from the cylinder head cover.
  3. Remove the coolant tube bolt from the rear of cylinder head and position aside the coolant tube.
  4. Remove the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose from the intake manifold.

  5. Remove the PCV hose (1) from the PCV valve.

  6. Remove the fasteners (1) and the PCV valve from the right cylinder head cover.
