When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• With the engine running.
• Battery voltage greater than 7.5 volts.
• The difference between the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor value and the actual Engine Oil Temperature (EOT) Sensor value is less than 255°C (491°F) at engine start-up.
• To initiate the monitor, the model predicted EOT value at engine start up must be less than approximately 58°C (136.4°F). The monitor will stop running when the model predicted engine oil temperature becomes greater than 88°C (190.4°F).
