Tailpipe, Exhaust: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Saturate the band clamp nut with rust penetrant. Allow five minutes for penetration.
  3. Remove the exhaust isolator (3) from the tailpipe hanger rod.
  4. Loosen the band clamp nut (2) and remove the tailpipe assembly.
