The 3.6L catalytic converters are bolted to the cylinder head. A catalytic convertor bracket is used to hold the lower section of the flange while catalytic converter to cylinder head bolts are used to secure the flange to the cylinder head.

A crossunder pipe connects the forward and rearward catalytic converters and merges them into a single output at which it directs the exhaust through a single pipe.
