Antenna, Long-Term Evolution 2 (LTE2): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the steering wheel opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .
  3. Working on the under side of the driver side instrument panel, remove the driver side air duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the fastener (3) to release the Long Term Evolution 2 (LTE2) antenna (1).
  5. Disconnect the antenna connector (2) and remove the LTE2 antenna (1) from the vehicle.
    NOTE:

    The following image is a straight-on view of the LTE2 antenna (2) and fastener (1).
