No Fuse Indicator

The no fuse indicator indicates when the Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse is open or not installed. This indicator is controlled by the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) logic circuit, based upon the IPC programming and electronic messages received over the CAN Bus from the Body Control Module (BCM).

The BCM continually monitors the IOD circuit to determine the status of the IOD fuse. The BCM then sends the proper lamp-ON or lamp-OFF message to the IPC.

The no fuse indicator will always be OFF when the ignition switch is in any position except ON or START. The IPC will illuminate the no fuse indicator when the following condition exists:
