Swivel Seat - Handle

NOTE:

It is not necessary to remove the seat from the vehicle. Rotate the seat as necessary when removing components.

Raise the seat to its highest position.
Remove the outboard side shield. Refer to SIDE SHIELDS, SEAT CUSHION, FRONT, REMOVAL .
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the seat cushion cover.

Unclip the cable from the frame (1), and disconnect the cable end (2).

Using a suitable pry tool, carefully pry outward on one side of the shaft (1) then pull it off the other shaft (3). Lower the handle (4) and unclip the cable (2) from the frame.
NOTE:

Note the routing of the cable, then remove the cable and handle as an assembly.
