Frame, Seat Cushion, Front: Removal

NOTE:

For the swivel seat configuration, the seat cushion frame is not serviceable separately.

The entire seat frame assembly must be replaced.

WARNING:

Disable the airbag system before attempting any component diagnosis or service of the front seats, when equipped with front seat air bags. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. Failure to take the proper precautions may result in accidental airbag deployment and possible serious or fatal injury.

  1. The seat cushion frame and seat adjusters are serviced as an assembly. For service procedures. Refer to COVER, SEAT CUSHION, FRONT, REMOVAL .
