Latch, Hood: Removal

  1. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood latch (2) on the upper radiator crossmember to aid installation.
  2. If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connector (5).
  3. Remove the nuts (3) and the latch (2) from the upper radiator crossmember (1).
  4. Disconnect the hood release cable (4) and separate it from the latch.
