Hinge, Hood: Removal

  1. Remove the hood. Refer to HOOD, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the cowl panel cover. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .

  3. Disengage the cowl cover drains (1) and position aside to gain access to the hinge fasteners.

  4. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood hinge (1) on the body to aid installation.
  5. Remove the bolts (2) and the hood hinge (1).
