Charging (Service Information): Description

The charging system consists of:

• Generator
• Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) with Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controlled circuitry
• Ignition switch (refer to the Ignition System service information for more information)
• Battery (refer to the Battery service information for more information)
• Inlet Air Temperature (calculated battery temperature) (If equipped)
• Voltmeter (refer to the Instrument Cluster service information for more information if equipped)
• Wiring harness and connections (refer to the Wiring service information for more information)
• Accessory drive belt (refer to the Cooling service information for more information)
