Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

   Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

   Yes 

   • Perform the U1711-87-Lost Communication with TCM diagnostic procedure. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .

   No 

   • Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS .
