Sensor, Wheel Speed, Rear: Installation
- Apply bearing grease (supplied with part) to sensor head shaft and O-ring.CAUTION:
Ensure that sensor mounting surface on bearing is clean before sensor installation.
- Push wheel speed sensor head (1) into mounting hole in the spindle and align mounting screw hole.
- Install wheel speed sensor routing to the retainers.
- Install the ABS wheel speed sensor head mounting bolt (2) and tighten to the proper and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect vehicle wiring harness to wheel speed sensor connector.
- Perform the Diagnostic Verification Test and clear any faults. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
