Switch, Brake Fluid Level: Removal

NOTE:

All views are typical.

  1. Thoroughly clean all surfaces of brake fluid reservoir and master cylinder. Use only Mopar® Brake Parts Cleaner or equivalent.

  2. Disconnect wiring harness connector (4) from brake fluid level switch in master cylinder brake fluid reservoir.

    NOTE:

    A small angled hex wrench can be used to depress the switch release tab.

  3. Depress tab (1) on bottom of reservoir, then grasp the connector end of brake fluid level switch (2) and pull it out of reservoir.
