Sensor, Brake Pedal: Installation

  1. Install the brake pedal position sensor to the bracket and engage the arm to the brake pedal.
  2. Install the brake pedal position sensor fastener (1) and swing the arm down.
  3. Connect the brake pedal position sensor wire harness connector (2).
  4. Install the lower steering column shroud. Refer to SHROUD, STEERING COLUMN, UPPER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
  6. Using the scan tool under Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), perform the verification test. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
