Pump, Electric Vacuum: Description
On the 3.6L engine there is an electric vacuum pump located on the left side of the engine compartment. The vacuum pump has one wire harness connector (2) on a pigtail connected to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is secured to the engine with two bolts and to the transmission with one nut on a stud.
The vacuum pump mounts to the bracket with two rubber insulated studs. The vacuum hose has a quick-connect type end (2) with a locking tab at the vacuum pump.
