Motor, Door Lock: Description

Power operated locking mechanisms are standard equipment in this vehicle. The lock mechanisms are actuated by a reversible electric motor integral to each latch unit. A connector receptacle integral to each latch connects the power lock motor and the integral ajar micro switch to the vehicle electrical system through a dedicated take out and connector of the wire harness.

The power lock motors cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, the latch unit must be replaced.
