Theory Of Operation

The Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) communicates with the RF Hub over a dedicated Security K Line Communication circuit. The K Line circuit is a one wire, low speed network operating similarly to a LIN bus system. The RF Hub compares the information on the dedicated Security K Line communication circuit to the Ignition Switch Position Signal circuit, when the ignition switch position is changed.
