All models are equipped with a combination antenna (1 and 2) for AM/FM, Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS), Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation and Long Term Evolution 1 (LTE1) cellular signal reception, as equipped. The antenna will be capable of only what the audio/telematics system is capable. Therefore, if the system is only capable of AM/FM reception, the antenna is only capable of AM/FM reception. If the system is capable of AM/FM and GPS reception, then the antenna is only capable of AM/FM and GPS reception. If the system is capable of AM/FM, GPS, SDARS and LTE1 reception, then the antenna is capable of all four types of signal reception.
The combination antenna consists of a base unit (1) and a removable mast (2).
The combination antenna must have open space in which to operate. Items carried on the roof, or parking inside for example, can have an effect on the antenna's ability to receive signals.
