Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read Integrated Center Stack Module (ICS) DTCs and record on the repair order.
3. With the scan tool, erase ICS DTCs.
4. With the scan tool, read ICS DTCs.
  Is the DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE ICS BUTTONS
1. Check the ICS buttons for a sticking condition by visually inspecting and pressing each button ON and OFF .
  Were any buttons on the ICS sticking?
  
  Yes
  - Remove the debris/substance causing the button(s) on the ICS to stick. If the debris/substance cannot be removed to restore full function to the ICS and clear the fault, proceed with this repair.
  - Replace the Integrated Center Stack Module (ICS) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Integrated Center Stack Module (ICS) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
