Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Diagnose any repair and system voltage high DTCs before proceeding with test.
1. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
2. With a scan tool, read the active DTCs.
  Is the DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE (A501) FUSED B+ CIRCUIT AT THE CHARGE AIR COOLER COOLANT PUMP
1. Disconnect the Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump harness connector.
2. Turn the ignition on.
3. Measure the voltage between ground and the (A501) Fused B+ circuits at the CAC Coolant Pump harness connector.
  Is the voltage above 16.5 volts?
  
  Yes
  - An over charge condition is present, repair Charging system as necessary.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
