Solenoid, Evaporative Emissions Purge: Installation

NOTE:

The EVAP purge Solenoid attaches to a bracket near the left rear of the engine. The solenoid will not operate unless it is installed correctly.

  1. Install the EVAP purge solenoid (2) onto the bracket.
  2. Connect the purge line (1) to the EVAP purge solenoid.
  3. Engage the purge hose (4) to the EVAP purge solenoid.
  4. Connect the EVAP purge solenoid wire harness connector (3).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
