Motor, Shift: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the fasteners (1) and remove the heat shield.
  3. Disengage the wiring harness electrical connector from the shift motor.
  4. Remove the bolts holding the shift motor onto the transfer case.

  5. Remove the shift motor from the transfer case.

  6. Remove the O-ring seal from the shift motor.
