DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate/Swing Gate: Spoiler: Installation

1. Position spoiler (2) to the liftgate and pivot towards the front of the vehicle.
2. Feed the washer solvent and wire harness connectors through there access hole in vehicle.
3. Install spoiler into liftgate. Verify retaining clip is fully seated.
4. Install center grommet.
5. Install the spoiler mounting nuts (1) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

6. Install the liftgate trim panels (2). Refer to PANEL, TRIM, INSTALLATION .

7. Position the wire connector and washer hose back through the vehicle header (1) and seat the grommet fully.
8. Connect the wire harness connector and washer hose (2).

9. Confirm the plastic retainer clips are properly installed and seated properly on the inside of the trim panel.
10. Connect the courtesy light (2) wire harness connector, if equipped.
11. Install headliner trim (3) and seat the clips fully.
12. Check for proper alignment.
