Switch, Dimmer: Description
The standard mode panel is used to select interior dimming lamp options. Use the Up arrow (1) so select the dimming option viewable in the EVIC.
The mode panel housing is secured to the instrument panel by snap fittings. The back of the mode panel housing has integral connector receptacles containing terminal pins that connect the panel options to the vehicle electrical system through a dedicated take out and connector of the instrument panel wire harness.
The mode panel cannot be repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
